Hahaha we’re retarded.

No time for blog.

Ugh I am so busy lately I have no time to do anything fun. During the day I’m in class, most of which is a complete joke (for example, we have been watching The Mission for the past 3 class sessions on my Anthropology class. Also, we are like 2 weeks behind because all the freshman in there are retarded at taking notes).

Also I have work 3 days a week, which I’m kind of worried about. The other day one of my bosses asked me to skip class to go on a kind of sales call with him? I made it very clear when I started that school is my number one priority and work is like 3rd or 4th down the line of my list of priorities. I got the feeling before but now I’m kind of positive that they are wanting me to take a bigger role in the company than I want. Like more of a sales role. Anyone who knows me knows I hate dealing with people, but that’s what they’re kind of pushing me into. I’m happy working behind the scenes and I know that this probably won’t pay me a lot, but that’s what I’m happy with. I don’t like all that salesy stuff and that is not I understood my role to be when I took the job. *sigh* But they’re REALLY good to me so I hate to be difficult. I like to help out whenever I can. But I am just not comfortable with sales-y type things.

And if I’m not working or schooling, I’m studying. Right now I need to be writing an essay and finishing reading about 40 different chapters of different books. I still have not read one item for my British lit up to 1760 class, it is so horribly boring. But this weekend I’m really going to make an effort to. One problem is that at night I am so tired by the time 7 rolls around because I’ve been up and going going going for the past 12 hours, all I want to do is settle down and watch some Law & Order for a while. Then American Idol. Then go home and sleep.

This week I’ll be praying for fortitude to complete my assignments and patience with my classes.

I got a job!

The interview today went REALLY well and I can’t wait to start… tomorrow! lol. The family lives in Laguna Beach (yes… the same one as the MTV Show) and their home is beautiful, they have an awesome view of the canyon. The little boys are so cute!! And she mentioned they are interested in getting a golden retriever soon. I hope they do!!

So excited!!

Asian Dramas.

Lately I found an Asian Drama torrents site through {Dodo’s Tabs} called D-Addicts.com. They torrent Japanese, Korean, Chinese and even Hong Kong dramas, many with subtitles. It reminded me of my freshman and sophomore years in high school when I discovered an Asian cable TV channel (KSCI) that showed subtitled Japanese dramas. I was enthralled. I watched a bunch of them including “Mukashi no Otoko” (my personal favorite), “Oyaji” and “Saimin”.

So I decided to download the Korean Drama of the Month, “Thousand Years of Love” and I quickly became quite addicted to it. It’s very melodramatic (the girl cries in EVERY episode) but I thought it was VERY touching and moving. I really reccomend it. Here is the series synopsis from D-A:

More than a thousand years ago from the present time, Sung Yuri is a Baek Jae Empire princess. Unlike other princesses, she is active and skilled in the arts and in sports. When the Baek Jae Empire crumbles due to a spy (Kim Sarang), she runs away with So Ji Sup (her bodyguard), and falls in love with him in the meanwhile. The new conquerer (Kim Nam Jin) is also in love with Sung Yuri, but only receives hate in return. In a desperate attempt to win her back, Kim kills So, but Sung runs away and jumps off a cliff to kill herself. While falling, she travels more than one thousand years into the future, which is our present time of 2003. Only she remains to be who she was, and she encounters So Ji Sup to be an aimless fashion designer with a warm heart and bad temper. Although he is annoyed at Sung’s ignorance of the present world, he comes to fall in love with her again. Kim Nam Jin is the son of the Fujiwara dynasty, and once again is mysteriously attracted to Sung. Only Sung knows the past that holds all three of them together, but will things become an exact replica of the situation back then?

I haven’t decided which drama to watch next. Maybe a comedy. 🙂

IE sucks.

I just realized a couple days ago that this site does not work in Internet Explorer. Sorry my misguided readers using IE. I have an important message for you, though…

Get Firefox!

I haven’t had time to play with my code and figure out why it doesn’t work because this is finals week. Also Mike quit his job so I’m spending a lot less time in front of the computer and a lot more time with him, which I don’t mind at all. :loveeye:

CONGRATS to Carrie for winning American Idol, she was my favorite. :cheerful:

Also, one of these days I’ll get around to telling you how much Thunderbird rules.

Grrr

Mike’s computer just freaked out on me 🙁 Speaking of which, the time on it is wrong *fixes* Anyway, as I was saying. Hell day is over! I got my ass up to Fullerton at 7 AM 🙁 The parking lot was kind of crowded, so I decided to stay there all day. I took my geo exam, which was harder than our last one. It wasn’t a cumulative final, it was just like a regular test. Then I tried to drop my poli sci final off at my prof’s office, but he wasn’t there yet. So I went to the TSU and found a corner to plug the laptop in and snuggle down for a good 4 hours of doing nothing. I guess that’s not true — I watched Onegai Teacher (Please Teacher), studied for my art exam, and worked on my essay a bit, and attempted to listen to music (but Mike’s laptop is possessed). Then at noon I went to my poli sci exam and dropped off my final. I hope I did okay on it. 🙁 Then I went to the bookstore and bought the next semester’s coursebooklet thing. Then I met Byron for lunch, which was pretty cool. It’s nice not to be by myself at school all the time. We talked about class and different stuff, what everyone is up to, etc. He expressed an interest in hanging out with the whole crew a lot over the summer, but we’ll see if that actually happens. They tend to be really wishy-washy in making plans. 🙂 Anyway, after that I studied a little more for my art exam and decided which classes I should think about taking next semester. I was thinking of taking 15+ units next semester… I want to get out of Fullerton! lol. I need to find out — oh my gosh that scared me, lol. Mike’s housekeeper just came upstairs and I thought she wasn’t here, but she is, lol. That was funny, I’m an idiot. Anyway, I need to find out when I can sign up for classes. WTF, Mike’scomputer won’t let me go to the Fullerton portal. It takes me to the page, then some search engine redirects me. How foolish. Anyway.

Then I took my Art exam (which took me a grand total of 15 minutes — seriously) and returned my books. I got $12 for two books, wow. Go crazy. After that I went to Mike’s house and waited for him to get home from work. I wacted more Onegai Teacher and worked on my English essay. I know, fun. 🙂

Then Mike got home and we watched some Queer Eye, then American IDOL! I was so sad Fantasia won, seriously. I really wanted Diana to win, although I knew she wouldn’t. I really don’t think that Fantasia has a good voice, and for most of the song she just says “YEAH YEAH YEAH,” she doesn’t even sing the song. And she puts too many rolls in her notes. Two of my biggest pet peeves about artists these days. Oh well, Diana will have a great career anyhow. 🙂 Anyway, I need to hurry and finish my essay so I can watch more Onegai teacher before Mike gets home 😀

Hm

For some reason, Crystal’s link over there is all special and the others aren’t. Hm.

Well, I just spent a lovely afternoon with Michael (hooray!) and we watched Top Gun, King of Queens, The Simpsons, and American Idol. I’m sad to say that although I want Diana to win, I think Fantasia is going to. Boo. 😛

Tomorrow is hell day! I have finals, starting at 7 AM and ending at 4:20 PM. Shoot me in the face now. And to top it all off, I have a break from 8:30 to 2:30. 6 hours. 🙁 I thought about going home, but I have to drop off my poli sci final, and I don’t want to waste the gas, and worry about finding another parking spot… so I’m just going to deal with it. I have an essay to write anyway, so maybe I can get that done tomorrow and drop it off so I don’t have to make another trip out there. 😀 Or I can watch the anime I’m going to bring, or work on the layout I’m bringing… >D Hopefully I will do the essay, though. Seriously. Wish me luck!
