When I last shared my to-do list with you, here’s what it looked like:
- Quilt for C
- Quilt for D
- Quilt for baby boy 1
- Quilt for baby boy 2
- Quilt for baby boy 3
- Quilt for baby girl 1
- Quilt for baby girl 2
- Mike’s T-shirt quilt…
Well, a month later there have been some changes:
- Quilt for C
Quilt for DUnfortunately, this person is no longer in my life, so that is removed from my list.- Quilt for baby boy 1: On the machine being quilted now!
- Quilt for baby boy 2: Pattern and fabric chosen!
- Quilt for baby boy 3
- Quilt for baby girl 1: top is done and so is backing!
- Quilt for baby girl 2
- Mike’s T-shirt quilt…
Right now, my priority is finishing the baby boy #1 quilt since that shower is in less than two weeks. I am almost done quilting it so that shouldn’t be a problem at all. Next, I need to whip out a quilt for baby boy #2. He was born a few days ago so this one will be late. His three older brothers and sisters have quilts from me that they can share in the meantime. I may jump over to quilting the quilt for baby girl #1 since it is already pieced and ready, but that baby isn’t due for a few months yet and baby girl #2 is due any day now. So I may do that one next. And then baby boy #3 will be turning one this summer so I need to get that one done… and I’m sure there will be more baby announcements before I get all of these done! But I do feel like I’m making progress. I’d really like to finish C’s quilt and Mike’s t-shirt quilt this year too, but I am not sure those are going to happen. One quilt at a time is the only way to do it!
