College group was fun. :)

After my last post, I finished up Onegai Teacher (actually, I have one episode left). It is actually not a bad anime, I kind of enjoyed it. Even though the storyline is kind of weird. 🙂 Worth checking out, though! Anyway, then I looked at different websites. I was thinking of making a Tifa and Aerith Friendship shrine, because I hate how the fans of each character hate each other. It’s really immature and it gives the characters a bad stigma. The so-called “war” between Aerith and Tifa fans is one of the most well-known things about Final Fantasy VII fandom. 🙁 So I was thinking about making a site about it so that we can start to change this stigma! Wow, I’m really a nerd… I care about what people think about GAME characters…

Then Mike got home (yay! :D) then we had to take his mom to pick up her car from the car fixing place… yeah… Then we headed home to prepare for a college group get together at Mike’s house. I kind of didn’t expect anyone to come, since we forgot to tell anyone at church, and kind of relied on spreading it through word of mouth. But it worked out! When we got home, Will was waiting there for us, hehe. He’s really a nice and funny guy. Then Holly, Chad, John, Kimmy, Rob, Mike S., Maz, and Troy all came later. We went to the pool in Mike’s community, played DDR, pool, and watched Family Guy. Maz had to leave at around 10:30 because he promised Gio that he would help him with his little sister’s Prom after-party at the house. I wonder how that went, poor Maz.

I went home at around midnight and crashed in my bed. 🙂 Never has it felt so comfortable! Now I need to take a shower, because I have to go to Fullerton and drop my English final essay off (why I couldn’t just email it, I don’t know) and then go to Mike’s so we can go to the beach (if weather permits….!). If we don’t go to the beach, I think we might see Saved! I want to see that so bad. 😀 Ta!

Post about Christmas Party

Yay it was fun. Greg liked his present from me, I think everyone liked their presents. Mabel gave me a Tinkerbell doll and a blanket, they’re both super cute. 😀 And Mike got army fatigues from Kevin, those are really cool. I played FFX-2 and it’s awesome!

Um, that’s pretty much it, haha. I studied this weekend, finals next week! Eek!

I Promise, too. 😀

This one time I had an incredibly busy and fun weekend and I had no time to post on this blog. 😀 So here’s a quick rundown. Actually maybe not so quick.

Friday: Waited for Mike to be done with baseball, then we went to the Spectrum and shopped around a bit and watched “The Matrix: Reloaded.” I liked it. I thought the philosophy was kind of dumb, psuedo-intellectual, but the action was cool. And not the action that involved sex like in that one part where it was a huge orgy. After the movie Mike took me home because I was pretty much falling asleep on the way home. Yay!

Saturday: Started the day with a blood test. That is neat. I didn’t get a really bad bruise this time, yeah. 😀 Then I played FFX for a while before I went to teach my mom’s friend’s daughter colorguard who is trying out for Mission. Yay. From there I came home and made some sock puppets for my Spanish Monthy Python puppet show. They are so cute! Then I went and shopped for Prom, which bummed me out a little bit because I was all by myself, and I didn’t know how to do anything. And all these other girls were there getting their hair and makeup done. Yay, that is neat. But then I went to Mike’s house and he cheered me up. ^_^ We set up for the dance lesson his parents were having there that night for some friends. It was sooo fun! We learned this contemporary two-step that was a lot of fun. And swing, too. Then we left to go ice-blocking at the Jeronimo hill, which was fun. It took us a while to find ice blocks because every place was either closed, or not selling them. Then we waited about a half an hour for our friends to arrive. I ended up falling asleep… that was great. ^_^ Then this Asian guy was cussing and screaming at us, then we ice-blocked and Mike and I made a taxi, hehe. Fun!

Sunday: I got up and cleaned out my car, which was infiltrated with grass from ice-blocking. Then to church. Mike was late, haha. Then we went to lunch at Mega Burger. Yum. 😀 Then I went to Downey for a Girl Scout reunion. It was really awkward, yeah, until Teresa got there. Yay I missed Teresa 😀 She used to be my best friend, I guess she still kind of is, hehe. I just hadn’t talked to her in a while. It was fun, we went to the festival at my old school, which is a lot smaller than I remember it being. FUN. Then I went to Mike’s house, we watched “Castle in the Sky” (also known as Laputa). It was really long, but cute. Then I went home and almost fell asleep. 😀 There was an accident, I saw it first-hand before the cops got there. Wow. 🙂

Um I have to make 3 sock puppets now. Tonight is Mandala and I get to read my crap poetry! Yes!

Oh yeah this site is funny. 😀 Things my girlfriend and I have argued about. Shouldn’t people like this break up? But it’s funny so I don’t care. Those silly English. 😀

mood: Content. ^_^
song: “The Devil is Bad” – The W’s. It might be a Christian song (probably) but it’s so damn catchy I can’t help it. 🙁

Today is Saturday! Even though Alison called yesterday and woke me at the God-awful hour of 9 am, asking about my vacation and promising to go out this weekend, we didn’t. I called her today and she never called back! Poo on her 😛 Yesterday I went to Mike’s house and watched some anime, played DDR, went to the park and played toss the football/frisbees around. I threw the football into the bushes and muddied my shoes up trying to get it back. Oops. ^^; Maz, Cliff and Joanna also came. Fun times in the Mike-mobile as well, we rocked out to that “Yes we Can” song from Moulin Rouge, hehe.

Today I sat around on my ass all day. :D! I played some FFX [after I replaced it, my old copy stopped working –;]. We went to get Chinese for dinner [yum yum in the tum!]. I also did some religion homework! Yay for me ^^;

I’m really enjoying my break… once I get back to school, I’ll be so busy! Guard, Cinderella, anime club… help!

I finished downloading the first .hack//sign soundtrack. Mhm! I got the urge to download “Eyes On Me” from FFVIII. Not sure why… lots of memories [most not so good] attached to it.

“Eyes on Me”
Theme to Final Fantasy VIII
Vocals: Faye Wong

Whenever sang my songs
On the stage, on my own
Whenever said my words
Wishing they would be heard
I saw you smiling at me
Was it real or just my fantasy?
You’d always be there in the corner
Of this tiny little bar

My last night here for you
Same old songs, just once more
My last night here with you?
Maybe yes, maybe no
I kind of liked it your way
How you shyly placed your eyes on me
Oh, did you ever know
That I had mine on you?

Darling, so there you are
With that look on your face
As if you’re never hurt
As if you’re never down
Shall I be the one for you
Who pinches you softly but sure
If frown is shown then
I will know that you are no dreamer

So let me come to you
Close as I wanted to be
Close enough for me
To feel your heart beating fast
And stay there as I whisper
How I loved your peaceful eyes on me
Did you ever know
That I had mine on you?

Darling, so share with me
Your love if you have enough
Your tears if you’re holding back
Or pain if that’s what it is
How can I let you know
I’m more than the dress and the voice
Just reach me out then
You will know that you’re not dreaming

Darling, so there you are
With that look on your face
As if you’re never hurt
As if you’re never down
Shall I be the one for you
Who pinches you softly but sure
If frown is shown then I will know
that you are no dreamer

It’s the day after Christmas!! So I’ll tell you about my wonderful life since last saturday.

I went to Mexico last Saturday to do some service down there with Vanessa’s church. It was cool, especially the parts where we almost smashed into other cars while we slid in the mud. Then Mike Fitch called Vanessa’s cell and accused me of selling my wares in Tijuana. –; Anal pirate. When I got home I was greeted by a household of unwanted relatives invading my personal territory. At least I got a present out of it: a paint set from Granny. At least I wasn’t accused of being anti-social, a loser, a wanna-be asian, etc…

Sunday I went to Disneyland with my sister, Teresa [who arrived on Friday] and my brother, Chris, along with my mother and some friends of ours, the Williams. We went to California Adventure in the morning and Disneyland that night. Space Mountain broke down and we got to see the inside all lit up. It was soooo cool. 🙂 Then we went shopping at the Emplorium and I got a sweatshirt. Disney’s Princess Club! I am a princess. 🙂

Monday Teresa forced me to go shopping with her. We bought my dad the Band of Brothers DVD boxset, Chris a couple CDs, Amber some clothes [since the ones she owns do not fit her rapidly growing bust size], and Teresa rewarded me with a jean skirt I had my eye on [Hey, it was only $10. I love Old Navy]. Then we went out with my mom and saw “Two Weeks Notice” with Sandra Bullock and Hugh Grant [not my choice of movie]. It had it’s funny moments, but it wasn’t anything truly memorable.

Tuesday, Christmas Eve. Dawn arrived two hours early [for a change] and we exchanged presents. I got an anklet [supposed to be a bracelet] from Dawn and family. Donny brought his Gamecube and we played 007 and that other game… the Mario one with lots of games on it… Mike Cragg also popped by, unbeknownst to me, and dropped a gift off for me on the front porch. Dad knocked it over when he went out for a walk and that’s how we found it, hehe. ^^; It was a glass mug with pistachios and other assorted candies in it. Yum yum in my tum. I really need to get around to telling him that we’re just friends. ^^;

Wednesday I awoke with a start once I realized it was Christmas Day! A little too early, however, since we couldn’t open up presents until Teresa woke up, and she didn’t wake up for another hour and a half. That’s okay, we entertained ourselves with Band of Brothers documentary: We Stand Alone Together. Very good. She finally woke up and we opened presents. I got:
• Playstation 2 [Hallelujiah]
• Final Fantasy X
• Mobile Suit Gundam: Federation vs. Zeon
• Sweet sound system that goes with the PS2
• Sparkly silver converse from Teresa
• Josh Groban CD [I’m still asking myself why]
• Slippers
• 4th Love Hina DVD from Chris
• Candy
• Ozzy Osbourne keychain [stocking :)]
• Tweezers [??? stocking as well]

That’s it ^_^ So numbers 2 and 5 are crossed off my Christmas list… I still want the other things though!! lol. After dinner, we went and saw The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers. VERY good!! I can’t wait another year for the last LOTR movie!! I like Aragon more now, even if he is cheating on Arwen. But Legolas is still hottest in my book.

Teresa left today. I put all my presents away and cleaned my room, did laundry. Daddy went and bought me a memory card for PS2. Yay Daddy. I talked to Nick Mazmanian today, apparently he got arrested on Christmas Eve. I say to myself: Why doesn’t that surprise me? Silly kid. Also watched Hellsing today, eps 1-3. Yikes, that’s all I have to say.

I’m about 100 pages into East, West, one of the books I have to read during break. The other is Autumn of the Patriarch. I’m scared! I also need to do a Physics project and work on religion homework assignments. Boo. In addition to playing FFIX and X…!!

Only a few more days until New Year’s Eve. I’ll be going to Mike Cragg’s house to hang out before the Nothing Special! Show. After that, I might go back to Mike Cragg’s house, or hang out with the band and the groupies, not sure yet.
