Yet another talented actor dies. I’m really shocked by this one, though. He seemed to have so much promise and was actually getting roles and performing them in ways that were earning him a lot of respect. Everyone can’t wait to see him in Dark Knight. It’s just so sad and tragic, and he has a young daughter as well.
I’ve been checking back at TMZ periodically, seems like they keep on having new developments on this story. So far it’s suspected that he had an accidental overdose.

Actor and my childhood crush Brand Renfro is dead. He was just 25. It was probably drug-related, he’s been having problems with drugs for a while now.
I can’t remember what movie I first saw him in, but I had a serious crush on him, along with Devon Sawa about 10-12 years ago. While all of my friends were drooling over Johnathan Taylor Thomas in Tom and Huck, I was looking at the bad boy, Brad. I just thought he was so dreamy and sexy. I raided Tiger Beat and the like for his pictures, but it was the era of JTT and his pictures were few and far between.
One weird thing about getting older is that people around you start dying. I know this is kind of silly to think since he’s an actor that I didn’t even know and I’m just 22, but it starts when one is a young adult and keeps going for the rest of one’s life. Kinda depressing.
Anyway, R.I.P. Brad. My heart goes out to all his family and friends that did their best to help him.
Shia LaBeouf was arrested in Chicago over the weekend for being drunk and disorderly in a Wallgreen’s. I’m not sure why I’m posting about this; I’m not particularly a big fan of his or his work. Maybe it’s because his mugshot is one of my favorites I’ve ever seen (and as it turns out I really like mugshots). Or maybe it’s because in August he told InStyle that he loves celebrity gossip sites, but would never want to appear on one. Sweet justice. :anime: I love Celebrity mugshots, and it’s one of the great disappointments in my life that we haven’t gotten to see a Britney mugshot (yet).

It started out not so good, though. Woke up and went to work, and realized that I couldn’t really work because I was still feeling crappy. So I went home at lunch, and slept until about 3. I talked to Mike at around 3, and he’s like ‘oh, I think I’ll go drive around for a while.’ So I decided to make myself some lunch and watch some t.v. I had gone upstairs to chill at the computer for a while when there was a knock on the door. Open it up, and who is there? Mike! Ohh my gosh I was sooo surprised and happy. He had called me a few minutes before, saying he drove down to Tommy’s by City of Hope, so I didn’t expect to see him at all. But, since baseball had been cancelled today, and he had no more classes, he decided to come and visit me. Mike is the best. ^^ That made my week!! After dinner, he had to go back to school, but I had a great afternoon.
Speaking of atrocities in music, since when does The Cure sell their music for commercial use? Since HP started using Pictures of You for their stupid digital photography promotion. I’m upset at HP for wanting the song and I’m upset at whoever in The Cure franchise decided that would be a good idea.

I just don’t understand. He looked fine on MTV’s ‘Cribs’ a couple years ago. See? I can deal with that. But his new look… hurts. And ‘The Donger’ is on it, lol. Also, Flava Flav is wearing these overthetop sunglasses. Crazy.
