Hooray, upgrade!

I’ve upgraded WP to the latest version, finally. I’ve been a bit too lazy to upgrade to 2.6 for a while now, but I really like it! 🙂

I’m also working on getting a new theme up, which actually inspired my upgrade, haha.

I’ve also finished putting the first version of BigJohnMazmanian.com online for a good friend of mine. Check it out and let me know what you think of it. I am thinking of adding a message board on there — a really simple one. Any suggestions for a good, light weight, simple script?

  1. Hello Erin,
I see that BJM website is working, I am so glad.

I loved reading your blog & “about me”. I got some insights into you. Congrats on your upcoming marriage.

Can I ask One little thing of you? Well actually 2. I see you are using the pictures from the original website which I gave permission for. Could you please credit RestLeSs D Grafix for optimization? Originally I got them from Big John and I did take the time to scan & ready them for the web. Also, I kept the original page at the Gasser Legends area of my dad’s website so if you could put a link to that area it would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you,

PS: Here is one of my favorite quotes from literature:

“If I don’t seem to need help, it is because I have a better friend, even than father, to comfort and sustain me. My child, the troubles and temptations of your life are beginning and may be many, but you can overcome and outlive them all if you learn to feel the strength and tenderness of your Heavenly Father as you do that of your earthly one. The more you love and trust Him, the nearer you will feel to Him, and the less you will depend on human power and wisdom. His love and care never tire or change, can never be taken from you, but may become the source of life-long peace, happiness, and strength. Believe this heartily, and go to God with all your little cares, and hopes, and sins, and sorrow, as freely and confidingly as you come to your mother.”
