Lately I’ve been reading the link I posted on tuesday, homeless girl’s journal. And I’ll have to admit, I was one of those prejudiced bigots she describes in her journal, people who think homeless people are there because they want to be. I read her story and it really changed my mind and helped me realize that none of us are too far from homelessness. She was a regular college student, and then BAM — a car accident changes her life. Now she’s homeless, and no one in her family will help her. I’m really thinking about sending her some money or a giftcard to someplace, like Target [do they have those in Boston?] or Walmart or CVS. She just got into an apartment [yay!!], but who knows how long she’ll be able to stay there. I’m really lucky… I complain about stupid crap all the time, but look at her… she has no one, yet she’s been able to persevere through such a tough condition. Kudos to her.

I’m thinking about designing a new layout for this blog. I’ve made a new one for pink-champagne.net. Hope it’s cool and hip… I like it…
